Jimmy Cliff, the Rastaman who brought such songs as Many Rivers to Cross, I Can See Clearly Now and The Harder They Come, needs no introduction.
Jimmy Cliff is a Grammy-winning musician/actor/singer/songwriter/ producer and Rock n Roll Hall of Famer as of 2010. Well aged into his 60s, the reggae legend keeps going strong, rocking the boat backed by his outstandig nine-piece reggae band of many years. Jimmy Cliff has the energy of a a man who sings with his heart and his soul still has the music running through his veins. His new release Sacred Fire EP is currently #1 on the Billboard and iTunes Reggae Charts ! This is definitely the best reggae show of 2012 !

Local NYC Insight: The best way to access the Celebrate Brooklyn Festival (Prospect Park Band Shell) is to go to the 11th Street entrance at the corner of Prospect Park West and Eastern Parkway.Arrive early to stroll around and enjoy this beautiful day: The Prospect Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, the same landscape architects who created the world famous Central Park. This beautiful, huge park is home to the first U.S. city Audobon Center and even has its own zoo, boathouse and a vast area of natural conservation.
